They are using Magento 1 and continue to do so following the discontinuation of support from Magento (Adobe) in 2020.

Interactive Calendar for Customer Appointments

Rennie wanted to make it easier for their customers to be able to book appointments within their store. This was a completely bespoke solution that matched Rennie's exact requirements.

The video below shows the interactive form as it appears on the homepage and product pages.
For this we created a floating button that resides in the main banner on large screens, tablets and mobiles. Clicking on this button would open a popup on the screen with an interactive calendar showing available dates that the customer could choose, not every date was to be available and appointments could only be booked up to 3 months in advance. There were also restrictions on the times offered each day. On completion this would send an email to Rennie with the request and show a message to the customer confirming their selection.
We also added a Book Appointment button to the product pages on both large screens and mobiles, so that when a customer is on a product page, they can click the ‘Book Appointment’ button and this would open a popup allowing the customer to book a date but also log the page they are currently on so that Rennie will be aware of the product the customer is interested in prior to their appointment.

This was also added into the contact us section to give the customer every opportunity to book an appointment.
