Posh Totty Designs, started in 2004, provides personalised and unique hand stamped jewellery via an online shop, physical shops and other various sales channels and marketplaces. 

 

We were tasked with building them a modern,  engaging online ecommerce site built on Magento 2 to help them achieve a fuller online presence and reach their next level of growth.

 

Built using the new, mobile first theology, the user experience has been at the forefront of the whole build to ensure a great customer experience.  The website works perfectly across all platforms, it is fast, easy to navigate and simple to order.

Posh Totty's Magento 1 site had been running for several years and had become the backbone of their business.  As a result became very bloated with over 150 extensions and a great number of bespoke customisations which caused issues with speed, system over-load, system conflicts and a major headache keeping on top of security.

We took an extensive study of every part of Posh Totty's business to fully understand how it operated, where every process was questioned and evaluated to see if it was required and if it could be improved upon.  Taking this we studied their old site which had over 150 extensions installed with a focus on dramatically improving the speed, reducing the workload and improving security. 

We also worked very closely with an SEO company to minimise the effect of the rebuild and data migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2 with the end result that the page rank across the board improved.

The result is a solid, well built, slim, very fast site that much easier to protect containing just 15 extensions to date.  It is ready to play its part in the 'Whole of Business IT Solution' we are currently implementing for Posh Totty Designs.

SEO and Data Migration

We worked closely with an SEO company to ensure the switch from Magento 1 to Magento 2 did not adversely affect Posh Totty's standing with search engines.

As a result we saw an improved standing with out of 5915 keywords identified:

THE RESULTS

We are immensely proud of the results that we have achieved which have exceeded our expectations.

We are implementing a 'Whole of Business IT Solution' and the website is the second stage of that process.

The ultimate goal is for Posh Totty Designs to have a complete IT system to run its entire business of which this website will play a very important role.

It was important to get this absolutely right and the figures show that this is exactly what we have achieved.
