Rennie are a jewellery company based in Hatton Garden with whom we have been working with for a number of years.
They are using Magento 1 and continue to do so following the discontinuation of support from Magento (Adobe) in 2020.
Interactive Calendar for Customer Appointments
Rennie wanted to make it easier for their customers to be able to book appointments within their store. This was a completely bespoke solution that matched Rennie's exact requirements.
The video below shows the interactive form as it appears on the homepage and product pages.
For this we created a floating button that resides in the main banner on large screens, tablets and mobiles. Clicking on this button would open a popup on the screen with an interactive calendar showing available dates that the customer could choose, not every date was to be available and appointments could only be booked up to 3 months in advance. There were also restrictions on the times offered each day. On completion this would send an email to Rennie with the request and show a message to the customer confirming their selection.
We also added a Book Appointment button to the product pages on both large screens and mobiles, so that when a customer is on a product page, they can click the ‘Book Appointment’ button and this would open a popup allowing the customer to book a date but also log the page they are currently on so that Rennie will be aware of the product the customer is interested in prior to their appointment.
This was also added into the contact us section to give the customer every opportunity to book an appointment.
This is just an example of the highly bespoke work we do to develop solutions that answer all of our clients individual requirements.
Our Previous Work
Whirlwind Sports has a great one page checkout installed from Gomage, which has really helped with abandoned carts/baskets.
This is an exact copy of the Penloe site with the css changed to rebrand the site. Done to reduce costs as they are the same company.
We have been working with Art of Living to improve their website and develop further integrations within Magento and Wordpress. They use Wordpress for the CMS pages and Magento for the catalog and shopping pages.
We redesigned and rebuilt the crackers site in 2016 for the run up to Christmas, this being their busiest period for sales.
We gave the site a clean new look with much improved navigation and a smoother checkout process.
Bodaskins came to us with a hacked site which they had been quoted thousands to fix. We worked to remove the hack and advised them on the installation of security patches and consulted with their dev team to keep the site secure.
Our very experienced team are happy to answer any questions you have.
